Morris Lessmore

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore from Moonbot Studios on Vimeo.

Over the summer I had the great opportunity to work with some amazing artists out at the newly created Moonbot Studios. Here's a teaser of the project we worked on while I was there! I got to do animation and TD work (mainly facial rig stuff.)

Thesis!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts, just busy working away on thesis! Here are my two characters rendered out... Hope you like them! I'm really enjoying bringing them to life, can't wait for everyone to be able to see it.

Starting Something New...

So! Just started work at Moonbot Studios and I couldn't be more pumped! It's just such a great atmosphere and all the people working there are so energetic and excited! Just a really great environment!

So while we're waiting for our new space to be completed (which is looking awesome by the way), we're couped up in the pharmaceutical labs upstairs. Pretty much a room about the size of the average living room with 6 animators, 3 artists, brandon, a vacuum chemical booth, an eye rinser, and an emergency shower. Think of THIS but with a bunch of artists working all around it. It's kind of our metaphorical "starting out in a garage" story... but funnier. We also got moonbot lab coats...

Lip Sync!

Here's my Lip Sync project for CA class! It was a lot of fun modeling and animating this character. I really tried to exaggerate the facial shapes... but still wanted to keep a flesh-and-bone feel.

Pushing and Pulling

So it's been a while! But here are my two push pull assignments from last semester. The first one uses a more naturalistic approach in style, where as the second one is much more exaggerated! Hope you like them!
